Birth Beginnings is a non-medical trained doula business that provides women with emotional and physical support throughout pregnancy, birth, and after birth care for you and your new bundle of joy. As a Doula, all I want is to be there for you and treat you with the care you deserve.
The Doula
Hi I’m Liyah! I am a 23-year-old Certified Doula studying through International Doula Institute. I am certified in birthing, postpartum aftercare, and lactation support. I began this journey because women need tons of support when it comes to being a new mom or an already experienced mom. I know by experience how it feels from the moment you find out you're expecting to the moment you deliver your bundle of joy. For me it was scary finding out I was expecting because birth worried me so much it was just not knowing what to expect that feared me the most. After doing my own research and asking questions I slowly started to feel confident in what was so beautifully created. Having a doula of my own made my experience a great one! It is nothing like having support even if it’s three people or one a little support goes a long way. I want to be there for you in anyway that you need me even if you have help already I will be your extra moral support. As well as physical support during labor, my role is also to act as an advocate for the birthing woman and her family.
